With a 10-digit telephone
number provided to Accudata, it is determined if the carrier is a “landline”
provider or a “wireless” provider. This service can be used by telemarketing

provides the customer with the type of carrier that owns the telephone number
with close to 100% accuracy. While other services may provide this information
in monthly or weekly subscriptions, Accudata validates every 10-digit phone number
at the time it is submitted with 24-hour fresh information, including ported numbers.
With the FCC rules earlier
this year that allow landline phone numbers to be ported to cell phones, it is
critical that every number is validated at the time of the call to help telemarketing
companies avoid accidentally placing marketing phone calls to ported cell phones.

To further improve lead-generation
