LNA
As many of you know, Accudata is one of only a few companies granted access to the databases of the main telephone companies of North America. These are commonly referred to as LIDBs, or Line Information Data Bases. After pushing hard for years, Monica Martino (Co-founder and CTO) attended a session with the big database owners earlier this year in Florida. One of the results was an opening of data related to name and address.
We were the first outside company to formally contract and bring this service online. Now we have access directly from the carriers to the actual billing address for more than half of the US telephone numbers. This service is but one prong in the fraud prevention business. We call this new service LNA (LIDB Name and Address). Accudata uses other sources for Name and Address services to fill the void. Generally, these are from Directory Assistance records.
AccuSure
AccuSure is really a suite of capabilities custom-tailored to our clients’ needs. We can validate a phone number, find out if it is wireless or even look up a name and/or address to provide ACCUrate assurance so that our customers can be SURE of their information.
The addition of LNA adds power to our AccuSure validation capability. Incidentally, we have begun running some nice ads on AccuSure in Internet Retailer Magazine. We would love your feedback on them.
